Doomsday Clock Set Back By One Minute

NEW YORK, (GaeaTimes.com) People all over the world can relax for sometime as the Doomsday clock has been set back by one minute on Thursday. Doomsday clock, which symbolically indicates the time for destruction of the earth has been set back by one minute. This means that people would get sixty seconds more to live. According to the reports, after a considerable period of time, the scientists have decided to set back the time of the Doomsday Clock manually and it is for the first time in last couple of years that the clock has been set back manually.

The Atomic Scientists, who have predicted the time for destruction of the earth, in a bulletin have announced that they have decided to set back the time of the Doomsday clock by one minute for indicating, “more hopeful state of world affairs.” The announcement was made via Internet live feed in the New York Academy of Sciences. According to the reports, the online magazine that has covered this issue, Nobel laureates, scientists as well as the policymakers, who have been the part of the Bulletin board had jointly taken this decision after observing the current politics and science minutely.

As per the reports, the statement of the Atomic Scientists’ Bulletin also referred to the significant steps taken by US President Barrack Obama for reducing arms. President Barrack Obama’s talks with Iran and Russia for the reduction of nuclear weapons have also been cited in the statement. As the Doomsday clock has been set back by one minute, people are hopeful and expect to see more positive developments in the coming days so that the time for Armageddon is postponed further.
