The state government in Bihar is organising a laughing contest for the police to keep them free from mental stress.
Officials said more than 50 percent of the police force across the state are currently suffering from serious health-related problems like AIDS, mental stress, high blood pressures and sugar, prompting the authorities to go for such unique contest.
The winner will be suitably rewarded with cash money for winning the laughter challenge to be held in two category ~ first, different varieties of laghter and secondly, the laugher for a long time.
“Researches have proved that laughter improves health conditions of a man very fast and hence we have decided to organise this contest for the cops”, said a senior doctor of police hospital P Ojha who is the brainchild of this contest.
He said a large number of policemen in Bihar are fast falling victims to health problems owing to tension and busy life style.
