Wandering rats have nibbled at finger of one of India’s powerful chief ministers Saturday night while he was asleep on his bed, officials said today.
Offcials said Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar was taking rest in an inspection bungalow during his tour to the countryside when rodents nibbled at his finger, injuring him badly.
Officials said the chief minister was hurriedly examined by a medical team and the medical aid.
“We have bandaged his wounded finger and given him adequate medical help. There is nothing to worry now”, a senior health official BK Singh informed reporters today.
