MIAMI (Gaeatimes.com)- Three dogs Conchita, April Maria and Lucia are the new owners of the multi-million dollar property of late Gail Posner, who died aged 67 this March. However the new owners are facing some challenges from Gail Posner’s only son who has challenged the will in the court saying that the three do not deserve to be the new owners and that his mother was brainwashed by household helps to sign her property on the names of the three dogs instead of her own son. However, at present the three dogs enjoy being the owners of the $8.3 million Miami Beach house and a $3 million trust fund.
Gail Posner had always been very fond of her three dogs and loved them like her own children. During a 2007 interview, she said that she had bought a $15,000 priced Cartier diamond studded necklace for her dog Conchita who, however, was not very pleased with the gift. Gail Posner had in her life time bought many such valuable gifts for her pets. Even after the death of their owner, the three dogs continue to enjoy their life to the fullest with full-time staff on board to attend to their whims and fancies. The dogs still wear valuable Cartier necklaces while enjoy weekly spa treatments.
Gail Posner’s son Bret Carr has filed papers at a Miami court where he had said that his mother was a “deeply disturbed” woman and that the household staffs have always encouraged her to buy valuable jewelry for the pets. He had also alleged in his court filing that the staffs have convinced Gail Posner to leave her property for her dogs so that they can control the property.
