New York (GaeaTimes.com) Joey Chestnut won the 95th Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest at Coney Island, New York held, yesterday, July 4, 2010. Joey Chestnut won this competition after eating 54 Hot Dog but it was quite disappointing for him that he could not touch his previous year record of eating 68 Hot Dogs. Joey Chestnut took 10 minutes to eat 54 Hot Dogs. If he could eat 15 Hot Dogs extra it would be a new record. Whatever it is, the game plan was terrific and perfectly executed.

Joey Chestnut was born in the year of 1983. He is an engineering student and is also known as American eating competitor. In 2007, he won the 92nd Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest beating the six times champion Takeru Kobayashi by eating 66 Hot Dogs in 12 minutes. In the next year he also won the title consuming 59 hot dogs and buns. In the last year he made the world record. He again beat Takeru Kobayashi by eating 68 hot dogs and bagged his consecutive third title. In this year the main competitor of Joey Chestnut, Takeru Kobayashi was absent. Because the contract dispute between the authority and Takeru Kobayashi did not allow him to participate in the competition. He had to satisfy himself being a spectator. Bertoletti and Janus were the main competitors of Chestnut this year. When the contest begins Chestnut was ahead in the first minute by eating 10 more hot dogs and buns than others. Finally Bertoletti occupied the third position after eating 37 hot dogs and Janus stood second after consuming 45 hot dogs. As a result Joey Chestnut secured his fourth title of winning the hot dogs eating contest.
